Jaeden's hair is usually braided one way or another everyday for school. With
recess and P.E. and it still being warm outside it's just easier this way.
But, this is usually how she comes home too. Not so cute, but still adorable!
Notice how THICK each braid is though? I know, this girl has rediculously
THICK hair which is really hard for her at 7, to manage herself. So, she has been BEGGING
me to cut it. I've been hesitant because in six weks she'll be getting Baptized and it will be
so easy to do for her dad to have it in braids especially considering the amount to deal with.
My arguement wasn't winning. Dad, voted to let her cut it so...
Tonight we cut it!!
We unbraided......
We straightened.......
and then we CUT, and CUT, and CUT.....
and then we THINNED, and THINNED, and THINNED....
and then, the STACKING began!!!
I added some side layers to blend it together...
After a shower and a styling, I think she likes it!!!
I must say it's really ALOT easier on the both of us and she still is

Cute hair cut!!! I love that style. I actually have an appointment on Wed. to do the same thing with my hair. I've had it cut like that a couple of times and absolutely love it. It is so easy to do everyday, and I really want it that way again. I didn't know you could cut hair- you did a great job. Is that what you do for a living or just a side talent?

Have you had traning or is that just natural talent. You did a great job. I have tried to do my daughters hair it never works very well. I would not dare to try to cut that style. I can mostly fake the boys haircuts. Though my husband still prefers to pay for his-I'm to slow.

Oh, she is so beautiful! I haven't blogged this yet (been on hiatus, remember?) but Mayzie is the same way. Her hair was down to her bottom and we were always worried that it would get in the toilet when she did her business. Not joking! Our long term agreement has been that she would cut it after her baptism (next month), but this month when she accompanied her Dad and Nevan to Great Clips, she just hopped up in the chair and got it chopped without me! They cut her hair for free because she told them it was for Locks for Love. :) These girls must be just days or weeks apart, huh?
